The bathroom is to tiny you can’t seat on the toilet without touching with your knees on the wall

Internet connection not very good in room 7. Last time was room 1 and it was good. Probably distance from router.

Bit small, but do job. Was here second time.

Location, price

Convenient location, close to plenty of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, metro and buses. The landlady was very kind, cleaned the room every morning and changed the towels.

The moment I checked in, I noticed several things weren't up to par: the folding table couldn't be set up, there was no chair nor did the mini fridge door open, hence none could be used. When I showed this to the landlord, and asked if the bed could please be moved away a bit from them since I needed to use them, he raised his voice to reply rudely (Não! Não vé que nao ha espacio!?... No! Can't you see there's no space!?). I replied in a low voice "I'm only asking". He told me to use the kitchen table, which I explained I couldn't because I needed privacy for my work calls, he just shrugged. On the one hand Booking has misleading photos of the room I was assigned (room 6) and, no alternative room nor apologies for the inconvenient lack of space and accessories were offered at the hostal. On the other hand, I was landing in Portugal from Madrid, and live in a Latin country, so please know I'm used to people talking loudly, but this kind of rudeness is no way to treat guests, and it's the first time I've been treated in such a despondent way by a host. I felt so uncomfortable, I cut my stay short.
