Well equipped apartment

It was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was extremely well equipped with everything we needed. We made good use of the washer and dryer right in the apartment.

Had I realized there was no elevator, we never would have booked. My 71 year old husband with back surgery history had to carry our heavy suitcases up many stairs. I also hadn't realized that it is an apartment rental , so there is no daily housekeeping. It wasn't a huge deal , because we're pretty tidy and laundered our own towels , but we were surprised. The shower had a very weak, fine spray, so it took me quite a while to get all the soap off! The pool was disappointing.

Great condo in Kona

Good size condo in a good location to the beach and restaurants. The use of a beach trolley and beach chairs was really good.

As it was a condo we were disappointed that there was no sharp kitchen knives to prepare food. There were also no coffee pods or tea bags as a start, to have a coffee or tea on arrival. The lock on the lanai doors were difficult to open, we had the same locks elsewhere which were very easy to open and lock.

Cute little heaven and felt lucky to stay in this place

It was a nice very clean place with ample supplies to make it feel like home. The hosts and the management company did a fantastic job to take care of the finer details to anticipate and provide for guest needs. There were beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and what not, with an in-unit washer dryer, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, couldn’t really ask for more. The hammock was a hit.

Exactly as shown in pictures! Great balcony, very clean,

No Forks. The stove was dangerously underneath a wooden counter top, you really couldn’t use the back burner for that reason, or accidentally leave the burner on! Definitely a fire hazard that needs to be looked at!

Great value cute clean place! Close to town.

Great value for 4 adults, sofa bed was comfortable enough for 2 50-somethings, room was nice and big, ac worked good, a bunch of stuff in the closet to use at the beach, nice kitchen, and a great veranda with a peek a boo view, just the right distance to walk to town, close enough but still got some steps in.

AC unit needed a good cleaning / vacuuming and filter change. It kept the room cool but was constantly running. But that is my only negative comment!

Good location and value for money

The place was spacious and clean with good kitchen supplies. Having a car park was very useful and the location was really good. The bed was big and comfortable and the sofa bed was also surprisingly good to sleep in. The washer and dryer were a great facility for us as well.

Had to knock a point off because there were a few steps up from the car park and then a flight up as it was on the second floor, but it’s not a big issue if you have luggage you can carry.

Wonderful apartment in the very centre of Kona

A perfect welcoming to Hawai'i - this was our very first accommodation on the island. Spacious, peaceful, colourful, with a big balcony overlooking the ocean. The apartment is very well equipped - kitchen appliances, washing machine and dryer, beach chairs and accessories. A parking space is provided and it is walking distance to the main street in Kona.

The app through which the apartment is managed is a little bit over-the-top. I have been bombarded with messages (that I couldn't reply to!). I wanted to install the app to confirm everything was in order upon arrival but couldn't log in. A more personal approach would be preferable.

Quiet location, close to downtown and the water, great balcony, well furnished rooms.

I assume the door code was a phone number but it wasn’t ours so we had to look up the email each time. Perhaps that was because we booked through a third party site. Room was extremely hot when we arrived. None of the AC was on and the one is the living room had been tripped and needed resetting.

Great stay until the end.

The property was fantastic. Conveniently located a short walk from the Kona pier and shopping. The property was well kept with gate access to the shopping center.

1) A couple of our teammates asked if we could safely store their luggage for a few of hours while they went snorkeling before heading to the airport later the same afternoon(we were staying an additional day). we didn’t see anything in the rental agreement prohibiting this, so we said OK. Later that evening, we began getting bombed by phone calls and text messages by Vacasa demanding we list the names of the additional people who were staying in the condo with us. After explaining that no other guests were staying with us, and that we were just storing luggage in the hallway for a couple of hours, they seemed to finally understand a day later. 2) we paid for a 2 pm late check out the day before we were to leave. This was confirmed on the Vacasa website in our account and via a text message. The day of our departure, housekeeping came barging into our condo at 10:15 AM asking why we were still there, and that our check out was at 10am. So much for a relaxing late check out. The next 3 to 4 hours were spent pulling up text messages, receipts and responding to another wave of Vacasa phone calls & text messages to prove that we did indeed pay for a late check out to the housekeeping staff and manager on the phone.

The amenities were very good. Both the rooms had good A/C.. It's closer to the beach also.

The accommodation is on the 2nd floor and there were no lifts in the building. Google took us to the adjacent compound.which also had the same room number and parking . So it's a bit confusing.

Lovely, spacious apartment. Big kitchen with all the equipment you need. Not gonna lie...lurrrved the hammock and may have enjoyed a few wee afternoon naps in it! There was a supermarket close by and it was only a short stroll to the water front and main street.

Beautiful apartment, felt right at home!

So close to the shore and all the shops and restaurants! Great location! The apartment was also fantastic - every detail was considered, so many extras were provided that you don't see in most places. I can't wait to stay again when we visit next!

I don't think I have anything bad to say about this place. Everything was really wonderful. Certainly wouldn't complain if it was a little less expensive, but it was worth what we spent for peace of mind.

So clean and comfortable - had everything we needed! Decorated fun and tropical and it was so nice to sit on the balcony patio in the mornings with coffee.

Not related to the unit itself, but we woke up to what we swore were gun shots the first night we stayed at around 2:30am. We didn't hear sirens or anything, so hopefully it was something else? Kind of made me wonder what kind of neighborhood we were in! Didn't have any troubles though.
