Hotel is relatively new in the area, rooms are tidy, clean and quite spacious. It is located with 10 mins walk from train station, with a local market, some restaurants and a convenient store right next to hotel. This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel (1st time being here to visit the Shimanto River in Mar but unfortunately the weather was bad and I called off my plan). This time my main purpose was for seeing the Yosakoi summer festival at Kochi but hotel are Kochi are very fully booked and expensive, Nakamura station becomes my alternative and I chose to stay at Hotel Sunriver Shimanto again. I also had the chance to rent a bike and go around the Shimanto River side under good weather, which was a very fruitful trip.

Lovely hotel with all the necessities provided. Staff are friendly and made us feel welcomed. We were touched by the restaurant staff who ran after us as we were leaving to give us origami mementos. Thank you for the hospitality!
