This house is a spacious yet cozy hideaway nestled in the quaint historic village of Allegany, NY, just 1 1/2 miles from St. Bonaventure University, 14 miles from the Seneca Allegany Casino, 19 miles from Holiday Valley Resort, 20 miles from Allegany State Park, and only 2 blocks from restaurants and shops. A patio, balcony, and fenced in back yard provide plenty of private outdoor space. The interior boasts lots of natural woodwork, skylights, and a woodstove as a secondary heat source, giving it a warm holiday lodge feel. With lots of space and an open concept main floor, this house is perfect for families or large groups. While it may be tempting to completely disconnect and just enjoy this relaxing home and the beauty of the surrounding area, for those that need to stay connected, WiFi is included. For the eco-conscious traveler, many of the bed sheets are made of organic cotton and the pillows are hypoallergenic and also made with unbleached organic cotton and recycling is offered and encouraged.

Everyone oooohed and aaaaahed as we entered the property! We had a lovely time this past graduation weekend! Allison was super easy to work with and responded very quickly to all of my questions! The house is very very well appointed and everything we could possibly want was there at our fingertips. All kinds of beautiful memories were created! Everyone said that they slept well and we definitely were able to use the kitchen so everyone ate well too! Great location and you’d probably drive right by and not even notice the house was there, which was great. We had a fantastic time!

The location is on a quiet street in a laid back, small college town. The property is obscured by trees and foliage which gives an impression of being out in the country, even though the house is in a town. The kitchen and other areas are well stocked with needs.

The house was just as wonderful as we expected. Nice woodstove for post ski warmup (only 20 minutes to Art Roscoe Ski Area) and full kitchen for cooking meals. The house was comfortable and spacious with an interesting architecture. We all agreed it was the cleanest house we ever stayed in. Hope to stay here again in the future!

My friends and I stayed for for four weeks during the fall while we could all work remotely. The house was exactly as described in the posting. It was perfect for our group and dog, with lots of space for everyone and a great fenced in yard. It’s just a few blocks from town and is in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend staying here, especially for larger groups!

We enjoyed our stay. We had over 10 people in the house and had plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of sheets, blankets and towels. Great location, close to stores, mall and restaurants. The owner was great to work with and responded immediately when we had questions. Definitely coming back next year!

This house was perfect for our large group of friends. We had ten people, with a mix of couples and singles, and everyone had their own space. House felt private when you were inside but was in a good neighborhood and close to the rest of the town. Open first floor had a lot of space for us to hang out together.

Thanks for sharing your house. Lots of space, lots of amenities. No parking on road after November 1st-got a warning on our windshield. Having the Roku was helpful to entertain the grandkids. Very clean house. Got quite cool in the mornings- instructions on thermostat would be helpful. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Allison was super accommodating!

We loved staying in this cozy home! It fit our large group number perfectly and each room was decorated uniquely and comfortably. This is was a perfect place for our group of friends to settle in while in town for a friend's wedding. It was well-stocked and homey. We loved the place and Allison was a great host. (It was a bit moldy smelling upon entering but nothing a few open windows didn't fix!)

We brought our grandsons with us. This home is beautiful and spacious. The boys had their own areas, but the favorite was the large living room. Family came to visit and everyone gathered there and in the adjoining eating area. Allison maintains a spotless house with everything you need. The front yard is a magical area with a canopy of shrubs and trees which provide complete privacy from street noise . We all hope to return again to this wonderful home.
