voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort by IHG

We really loved the spectacular views and the service from the entire staff—especially a young woman (I think her name is Sara ) at the outdoor bar. The music was excellent and catered to all tastes, the room was very clean and tidy, and the food was flavorful with a great variety, as was the drink selection.

We didn't like the lack of varied, lively activities at the pool and outdoors; there weren't enough sun loungers or umbrellas. We witnessed a situation where a mother with a baby had nowhere to sit to keep her child out of the direct sun. You have to keep a close eye on pool towels because they run out and take a long time to be restocked. They should consider building an artificial beach in the future to provide more space for swimming and sunbathing, as the two pools—both the adult one and the other—felt too small for the number of people there.

We loved everything. The food was really good. The staff was amazing.

We liked the location, the food and the amenities were great! The staff was exceptional. Samir in the restaurant was top notch, Lilleth, Angie, Ian and Joshua were amazing, and Tony the cook was absolutely awesome! Bryce and the other bartender (short cute lady that raised her sons to go to the military) were a dream.

We didn't like the fact that the adult pool closed early, that there aren't any turkey or beef breakfast options, the water is not good from the tap, it has sulfur in it, the ceiling in the room had a Crack that leaked when it rained. It rained the last 3 days we were there so we really couldn't enjoy the activities on the resort. There was a medical emergency that took place and we didn't like that the fact that the staff was unprepared to handle it. Also, it would be nice for each building to have a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor and the spa not being opened caused us to have to leave the resort and find another option.

In general, the stay was good. For example, the food was well prepared and delicious, but the problems with the pool that they take out of you because of any raindrop and that you can't be in it after dark, I don't think it's fair. Because you don’t have any more options that the hotel . For example You can sign a paper at the reception then exempting the hotel from any responsibility to be in the pool at late hours and a bar with 24 hours because you are on vacation and the hotel is designed so that you do not leave there. the excursions the price is fair but if you go in group of persons you can’t go all group because the limit of capacity but at the same time the don’t have another boat . If you go your family It stands to reason that you want go out everyone together. And the last one some people of the staff is no friendly with the costumer they have to learn that in this world everybody is different and they have to deal with it.Thanks
