Circus Residence - Acogedor alojamiento con piscina compartida

Enrique and Irene were kind, welcoming, and quite to reply to all communication. The residence was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location-- just a short walk to the old city, but away from the crowds of tourists that arrive in the midmorning. This made it an ideal base to set out from in the a morning and early afternoon of walking (or driving) around the city and to return to for a nap or a swim in the pool when everything closed for siesta. Having the kitchen provided options when I didn't feel like going out to eat. The space was just the right size for me and a friend. And, when the friend left, I felt completely safe as a solo, female traveler.

La situation géographique aux pieds de la muraille de Tolède mais au calme. La piscine un véritable plus après ou entre les visites pour une pause fraicheur nécessaire et salvatrice.

We stayed in this amazing place for two nights and had a great time. The accommodation was very nicely decorated and in the perfect location for the new and old historic town. We received a very warm welcome from the owners and were provided with a bottle of water and wine and nibbles which was very thoughtful!  We enjoyed ourselves and it was lovely to have the pool and the owners were very helpful.

Couple of down sides... Unfortunately the aircon unit wasn't working properly and was just blowing the air around so we had 2 uncomfortable nights (it was 36° in the day and not a great deal cooler at night!!!). Also it all looked like it needed a sweep (dead flies under bed unit) and the shower tray was dusty and grubby. Would suggest to the owners that they check everything before guests arrive.
