The area is amazing and absolutely perfect if you have a car. Arroyo is lovely and a 15 minute walk away. The market at tivoli is walking distance too. In a car everything is 10 minutes away. We went to the marina every night for dinner but there's access to literally everywhere in benal from this villa. It's a sensational stay and we would love to come back.
The pool was very merky and didn't fully clear up until 2 days before we left to come home. It also ruined my brand new expensive swimming shorts with white stains which I can only imagine was some sort of chemicals. It's the only thing that disappointed us during our stay at this otherwise beautiful villa.

The Villa was lovely. The pool area was clean and the pool temperature was perfect. Room layout inside the villa was great for us as 2 families (4 adults and 4 children) with a spare fold up single bed and a travel cot provided. The kitchen was excellent with everything that you could need. Area around the villa was quiet and felt very safe. Mercadona supermarket a stones throw away selling everything you could need including fresh fish- perfect for the BBQ!
There are so many things to do for young children within travel distance from the villa. We visited the Biopark in Fuengirola, the waterpark in Fuengirola, the butterfly park, the Selwo Marina to name a few.
The villa was a little far from the Marina/ beachfront, it is walkable (45 mins) but we had young children so not ideal. There was a bus stop less than 5 mins walk away but the buses were a bit unreliable. But, if you don't want to wait around for buses it is 10 euro for taxi to/ from the Marina.
