Backwoods Cabins at Susitna River Lodge

The room was updated with nice beds, bath, and kitchen amenities. Very roomy and the beds were nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this establishment.

Wonderful individual cabins, well designed and furnished. Comfortable bed. Individual thermostat for each bedroom. Only slight negative was some road noise from occasional traffic during the night

Great cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin by the river. It was very clean and had the basics to cook meals. There is no stove, however a hotplate is available. Each cabin has a charcoal grill, and the office will sell briquettes and lighter fluid if needed. It is not really near anything except a playground across the street, however Talkeetna is a short drive away. We really loved the wooded surroundings and river location.
