About this house rental
The villa is divided into 2 independent apartments. My husband and I live in one of them. The guest apartment is composed of 1 bedroom with double bed and air conditioning, 1 bedroom with 2 beds (one of them queen-size) and air-conditioning, a kitchen with oven, refrigerator with freezer, washing machine and all necessary cooking items and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and WC.
At the outside our guests can enjoy a private patio (which offers absolute privacy and faces south)with a table and 4 chairs, barbecue and pizza oven and a beautiful garden.

Furthermore there is a large pool for the exclusive use of our guests;
The house is situated in a residential area and is mostly surrounded by countryside, therefor I recommend a car to get around
Just a 2-minute walk away there is a large well stocked supermarket which also sells ready-made food to take away.
My house is located in a strategic position, in a 15 minutes drive you can reach Ortigia (the old city center with the famous little beach Calarossa), in 5 minutes the greek theater and in 20 minutes the nearest beaches. Also the motorway access is easy and fast, making it ideal for visiting places like Noto, Taormina, Ragusa and Modica and to explore the south-east coast of Sicily.

Lovely villa, well equipped, fantastic cooking facilities BBQ & pizza oven Pool was very welcome with the heat. Charlotte the owner was fantastic answered any questions we had explained about the bus service close by to take us to Origigia. First for us we got clean towels & bedding after our first week this made a welcome change so I didn’t have to wash them Syracuse is a beautiful place to stop lots to see & do. Loved the Kola bar which was a short 14 min walk away. Plenary of restaurant within a 20-30 min walk Lovely beaches we drive to 25 mins away & Etna a must see Fabulous 10/10

We enjoyed our stay. Charlotte was very communicative. The guest house was very clean and up to date. Kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom was very nice. Great privacy, including the pool. Close to the bus stop if you want to bus into Ortigia instead of dealing with parking.

The accommodation is very good, clean and spacious bedrooms with air conditioning, a nice kitchen with everything you need and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. The outside space has an outside kitchen with pizza oven, built in barbeque and sink, with table, chairs and awning and had a lovely view over fields. The pool is clean and wasnt too cold with a tropical feel to the garden with palm trees. There is a hammock to swing in as well, perfect, We have travelled in Italy numerous times stopping in self catering accommodation and this is one of the best ones we have stayed at. The one thing this has got that the others havent is Charlotte. Nothing was too much trouble we mentioned we liked to walk and she rang the ranger to see where was safe to roam at the moment, she told us about a lovely walk to a nature reserve and beach that we did and a great walk through a valley with limestone cliffs. It really made the holiday. We had a car but walked into town and the Island about a 45 minute walk a few times, but you can get the bus from the archeological park so only a 15 minute walk. We tended to use the barbeque but we did eat out locally there are a few restaurants only 10-15 minutes walk away. The Conrad supermarket we visited everyday as it is only a short walk away and has fresh bread, meat and fish counters. We really enjoyed our stay in Syracuse.
