    Overall, the facilities, food and location are great. A few things service-wise stop this from being a 5* experience. Not sure if it’s an efficiency issue or they just need to hire more staff, but slow/complete lack of service by the pool (until they needed to chase you for payment) and room cleaning were the main pain-points. I often had to chase down/embarrassingly call out to get some service by the pool. Bed sheets were not changed the whole stay, and often the cleaner had still not been by 3/4/5pm. Spa: quite a bit more expensive than local ones, and I can only speak for my masseuse but it felt like they couldn’t really be bothered to do the job properly and not speaking English made it difficult to communicate with them what you wanted. On my first morning, I had been sat at breakfast for 5 minutes before a member of staff asked me to give an online review and stood by me to make sure I loaded the page on my phone. A few times there was some verbal pressure to give good online reviews - I think the hotel would be better off making sure 5* service is provided, and letting that prompt organic reviews, rather than trying to force this from guests. Overall the stay was great, but for a hotel labelled as 5*, you do notice these things.

    The rooms were spacious and clean, complemented by excellent facilities that made the stay comfortable. The location was decent for walking around, and sleep quality was good. Staff were okay but not outstanding. However, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, which affected the overall experience and value for money.
