    Spacious clean room. A free bottle of water on first day in the room. Lovely shower. Excellent location close to everything. Not one English speaking channel on the telly, just like it on whilst getting ready to go out.

    The location is excellent for the property. Easy to get to the airport via bus route and also many restaurants nearby. However, one thing to be mindful of is the hotel hasn't got AC in winter (it is quite stuffy) and it is also very noisy in the evening from the traffic. We stayed at the new refurb part.

    For the location the price was good and the room was huge and beautiful. The hotel kindly gave me a quiet room (***) and I slept well. However there is no table or desk in the room… Which is a bit weird. Nothing to put my glasses, key, bag on. Ended up putting things on the other bed and on the tiny side tables - not sure how 2 people would do it. Likewise the bathroom is beautiful but likewise there is no shelf for hairbrush, deodorant, toiletry bag etc. and no shelf in the shower Breakfast was varied but again no surfaces to put your plate down when you put salt or tomato etc. Toast with puréed tomato and olive oil was surprisingly tasteless. Scrambled eggs, fried eggs and bacon were nice but not warm at all - however I appreciated the cheap price of the breakfast and the variety, including cereal, fruit, pastries and cake. The location is really fantastic - in the gorgeous narrow streets of the old town, and you can walk out the door and be at the Paseo and the beach in a couple of minutes. I would totally book this hotel again, for the relative price in this location.
