We stayed here for 8 nights and went to the yoga sessions every day. The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay here. Would come again!

I booked this stay back in July, which was non refundable, but had stayed before and new the place. What I didn't know, was that there was construction daily from 8:00am - 5:00pm daily until Sunday (my chosen check out day as I cut my stay short), which impacted the ability to have down time in my room, meditate, and even attend the yoga classes at the circle shala without the constant sound of metal works, hammering, drilling etc. I was not informed about this prior to my stay, until I mentioned it in a message after attending a yoga class prior to my check in date. No refunds. No compensation (unless you want to call a very average massage a compensation!), and after much back and fourth all I was offered was a credit for another stay when construction has ceased. The staff refused to speak with me in person about the matter, ignoring my concerns via message, and the last night of my stay - there was a big party right next door until midnight that kept me awake too. The walls of the bamboo huts are paper thin (I literally heard my neighbour yawn one morning!), and it is not the safe, healthy ans supportive space I once knew after coming for many years since they opened. While the service staff are lovely, the meals are beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the yoga teachers are great; I would think twice about booking in the next 6-12 months for the noise, as you will not get compensation, a refund, be seen, or a much promised 'peaceful stay' to recharge, unwind, and get Zen. It is a construction site. I encourage you to look at the pros and cons, but just be warned that the noise is constant.
