Lardos Luxury Apartments

Location was excellent in a lovely traditional village with plenty of amenities Supermarket Taverna and bars all within minutes of the property..The property was modern and spacious and with plenty of facilities. The owners were friendly and helpful and at the end of the phone if we had a problem especially George.

There wasnt anything we didnt like. The TV we found a little complicated to navigate even after instructions from George but this wasn't really a problem as we hardly used it.

The apartment is located right in the middle of the lovely village of Lardos — neat, spacious, and equipped with everything you need for a self-catering stay. Although we didn’t use the cooking facilities, there were plenty of great restaurants nearby and a fantastic bakery just a two-minute walk down the road. The property includes one full bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a second sleeping area that’s partitioned off from the living and kitchen space with a sheer curtain. This area has two single beds pushed together to make a large bed. If you’re a group of 2–4 people wanting complete privacy and separate living space, this setup might not be ideal. However, for the two of us, it worked perfectly fine. George kindly left some water in the fridge for our arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. The apartment isn’t cleaned during the week, but there are plenty of cleaning products available in the shared washing machine area, so it’s easy to keep things tidy yourself. We travelled in early October and found it a bit chilly for Rhodes. The quilted bedding was appreciated, though a slightly thicker duvet with a removable cover for washing would be a nice improvement. Overall, a lovely stay in a great location with everything you need for a comfortable visit to Lardos. Good points Good restaurants. Good supermarket. Busy village. Clean modern apartment. Comfortable beds. Good facilities. Good showers and hot water. Felt safe.

What we didn’t like about the property was the parking situation — it was extremely difficult. On arrival, George kindly directed us to park opposite on the roadside in front of Savas Restaurant. However, the next day we were told that parking there wasn’t allowed. Another evening, we returned late and parked across the road again, only to find the next morning that locals had blocked us in with mopeds because we weren’t permitted to park there either. This really needs to be made clear for future guests. There is some parking available up the road on a patch of waste land, but it fills up quickly. We ended up parking even further up the road, and unfortunately, one night our hire car was hit, causing severe damage. So if you’re considering this apartment, please bear this in mind, and it would be helpful if guests were given clear guidance on where parking is and isn’t allowed. Another issue we experienced was with the payment process. I requested to pay in UK pounds, as the booking was made at a fixed price. However, because payment wasn’t taken until a few days before arrival and was charged in euros, the amount ended up being higher than originally quoted. This matter is still ongoing with Booking.com, but it’s worth noting that the final price may differ from what’s shown at the time of booking. That said, George was very kind and left us a bottle of wine as an apology for the inconvenience, which was much appreciated. He also offered us a late check-out — a thoughtful gesture, even though we didn’t end up needing it. Not so good points. Parking Sofa isn’t comfortable. You can hear people in the upstairs apartments. Tv didn’t work. Lack of local information in the apartment. Payment issues.

Super Lage,zwar nicht am Strand aber ringsum alle mögliche Restaurants,Bars,Supermarkt,Bäckerei.

Appartamento moderno e pulito al piano terra, con piccola ma funzionale area esterna, posizione centrale con ristoranti e market ad un passo.

Se proprio vogliamo trovare un appunto da fare, suggerirei di cambiare alcune pentole in quanto graffiate sul fondo e la mancanza della lavastoviglie.
