This is a good stop over if you would like to do both the Kamikochi and Shin Hotaka Ropeway in 2 days. The hotel is just a 5 min walk from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal. Guest will be given a public bath voucher upon check in to be used in the main Hirayu Mori hotel which is also a 5 min walk away. The only disadvantage is that it does not have an attached bath room and you will have to use it while you are at the onsen.

A Clean, newly renovated small hotel near to hirayu bus terminal. This hotel is the annex hotel of the main "Hotel Hirayu no mori ". Annex hotel has 16 rooms with one medium size onsen at ground level. Very relaxing onsen but under utilised . Annex hotel does not provide breakfast or dinner but has complimentary free morning coffee and simple breads.
Annex hotel provides onsen vouchers for occupants to visit the main hotel which has a big indoor onsen and outdoor open air onsens. Main hotel has a big restaurant which provides good and cheap foods with reasonable price. Must patronise the restaurant after a relaxing onsen bath.
Overall, the annex hotel is a good alternative hotel if the main hotel is full or if you are looking for an alternative accommodation at Hirayu onsen.
This Annex hotel is about 150 metres away from the main Hotel Hirayu no mori.

Nice place. The hotel is 7 mins walk from the bus station. It has the public bathtub cause there was no shower in the room which is fine for us. Also the hotel gives complementary Onsen at Hirayu Onsen which is pretty nice. They also provide towel to take to the onsen. Good deal. The room is big and cozy. Lovely stay.
