Perfectly designed and equipped, this cute “capsule” glamping hut enjoys one of the most awesome and tranquil views in the Dales from its comfortably large deck. Set at the bottom of our hosts garden surrounded by young apple and cherry trees, it’s the perfect resting place after a long summer’s hike along Aysgarth Falls and up to picturesque West Burton. Made even more rewarding by our hosts’ Welcome Basket including delicious home made jams and chutney, short bread and flapjacks! And - of course! - a slice of beautiful Wensleydale cheese. The shower is surprisingly big and water pressure and temperature perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped if you decide that the fifteen minute walk to the nearest hostelry is a step too far, and a self catering supper sat listening to the bird cries and distant sheep calling is just what you want. The cosy little Hut in the Orchard will guarantee you an early night in that super comfy bed, waking refreshed for another day’s love affair in God’s Own Country!

The village Co-op shop is located next to the garage just ten minutes walk away. They have fresh fruit, bread and pastries as well as most usual daily foods. But if you plan on self catering I would stop along the way in one of the bigger towns to stock up. And of course get all your wonderful cheeses at The Wensleydale Creamery in nearby Hawes!!
