Mikhail is an amazing host. I’ve rarely met someone so helpful and thorough. It was clean, there was a modern bean to cup coffee machine, and even a washing machine available. The balconies are lovely. It’s a great stay. Highly recommend - not too highly so that Mikhail has space for me next time I use that airport.

I would prefer individual bathrooms for each room but I understand space is limited.

Close to airport and grocery store

firstly, this is Moldova and a very poor country. That said, this was not an ideal location nor cheap for what you got. I have no idea of other venues in Moldova but this one was not ideal and by no way up to broad euro standards. We should have stayed in the city and caught 30 bus or taxi to airport. Kitchen was ok. Bedroom ok, bathroom was a poorly converted room with the light to bathroom in the corridor. It was close to airport.

nothing did we like. Location was too isolated and no available transport. long walk-to supermarket and no real other features, car or taxi required and you need to book taxi. no footpaths to supermarket 1.6 k away via forest track or just roadside. No cafe etc. anywhere at all we could find and we walked the block, about, 6 k. Supposed to be free airport transfer? but fees were requested, such arrangements need to be made clear with prices. We paid 4 euro from the city so 2 euro for the 2 k to the airport would be generous. no maps or guides supplied. Local area was rather down at heel. The venue was upstairs above a carwash and a car detailing operation. The stairs were exceptional steep with high treads, very dangerous for elderly, children and disabled. Access to the venue is through the car wash while operating. The kitchen was shared but ok, although it was advertised as a PRIVATE kitchen, but was shared. The washing machine was always in use by owner for cleaning linen, no facilities to hang clothes to dry. No hair drier, no iron. Small room no chairs, only chairs were in the kitchen. Power points few and not near bed to charge phones and computer as you used them. Coffee was very good. Bathroom was not cleaned to my wife's standards, no separate shower recess. My wife is a clean freak so scrubbed the bathroom. Bathroom was a converted room and not to western / european standards. Shower filled whole bathroom, not separate from toilet and remained wet all the time. The courtyard was a carpark for the car detailing business and had no garden at all, there was no balcony with the room. There was no cooling and room heated quickly. Needed window open but traffic noise and railway freight were very disturbing, Bed was fine. Twice during the night some random dude tried to access our room, like at 3 am. He actually entered the room of the ukranian woman opposite , woke her and had some bizarre conversation about a room. He had a key !!! How surreal.
