Nice bright warm apartment with beautiful views but some aspects were a bit basic for the price

The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The apartment is set in a quiet street amongst the mountains and under the gondola to Pinzolo, we were able to walk with our skis direct to the Colarin gondola so we were almost ski in / ski out (although we were not told this and figured it out on day 2, Day 1 we drove around searching for parking at all the other gondolas!) . In winter after a day of skiing and with kids it was too far to walk to town in the evenings - so for the shops or dinner you need a car. In summer it would be very walkable. The town was very quiet in the evenings. The apartment was warm with beautiful views. Good size and comfortable for our family of 5. Plenty of hot water for everyone. Kitchen has a gas hob, oven, small fridge and good selection of utensils. Bring your coffee filters! Even though we will mention some improvements we would recommend and would stay here if in the area again.

It is a ski resort / Italian thing for guests to make their own beds even when paying extra for linen - but still is never a nice first task on arrival. Made the 5 beds, 11pm arrival - in general the beds were comfortable some pillows and mattresses are a bit old & worn and could be refreshed. The main bed is hard. Lot of reviews mention the small shower - it is small but we are not big so it didn't bother us. We arrived late 11pm. Some facilities were really lacking we felt, especially considering the price, for even basic things there was almost nothing in the apartment, no bottle of water, half a roll of toilet paper, no toiletries, no salt/ pepper/ sugar, no filters for the coffee maker. Small improvements would bring the place from very good to excellent - for example the "flat screen tv" is a small monitor and does not work, the fireplace is not available for use (don't list it as a facility), deeper cleaning for example the glasses/utensils that are not regularly used by guests were not clean, some bedside lamps need bulbs. The bathroom is dated but functional, we had issues with the drain blocking, the wifi and the power went out but all were rectified straight away by the hosts. Even though we suggest some improvements, we would recommend this place and would stay here again.
