Upper Reach Spa Cottage

This little cottage is a perfect getaway that is very peaceful. I had a tour & tasting on my first day & Laura was absolutely lovely. The cottage is away from the restaurant & cellar door so very private. We had several visits from their 2 gorgeous labs & one even guided us on the walk trail at the back of the estate. This trail was an unexpected surprise & was just so gorgeous to experience. Thank you for a Wonderful weekend. :)

I couldn’t get the spa jets to work so ended up just having a bath.

The cottage is a lovely old building with wooden floors, a wood fire, and gorgeous deck overlooking the vineyard. The hosts two golden retrievers were constant visitors, and as we were asked not to feed them, we thought one visit would do them, but every day they came to say gudday and have a sit on the deck. Very quiet and peaceful, especially considering it is a working vineyard with a busy cellar door. Lunch at the restaurant was a highlight, delicious and a very big serving, especially keeping in mind its lunch at a winery

The beds could do with a refresh, the mattress in the main bedroom was a bit saggy and dips in the middle. The floors are VERY creaky, so there is no sneaking around in the night haha. We used all the wood provided up on the first/second night, and were informed that we would need to purchase our own for the rest of our stay. (which was ok, we just used the a/c)

Great location, beautiful Vista from the cottage. So good to visit the winery for tastings and food. Easy access to all the Swan valley attractions..
