Budapest Citi Guesthouse - contactless self check in

The room was exceptionally clean and excellently located in the city centre, importantly it was quiet with all room facilities expected in any decent hotel, including A/C and daily room cleaning. The whole establishment is on the ground floor. I recommend this place, it is more than a 'Guesthouse', more like a collection of double room en-suite apartments (we stayed in room 4) - perfect for my wife and I whilst in the city for 5 days meeting friends. Any room extras required to replenish those used (soap, towels, coffee etc) are available 24 hours a day next to reception desk. The staff are helpful and courteous, as one would expect. They even have a great shoe shine machine - free to use!

A breakfast option may have been appreciated but the property doesn't lend itself to this option. There are many dining options within a 1 minute walk including the New York Cafe next door. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the room.

Great location and close to amenities and transport links. Easy to access the property and the host allowed us to check-in earlier. The room was great. Clean, comfy bed and big bathroom.

There were no plug sockets next to the bed.

We really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy, the room had everything we needed, and the location was convenient. If you are mainly looking for a place to sleep and rest while exploring the city, this hotel is a great choice.

Our room was on the first floor, so the lower half of the window was covered, but this was not really an issue for us as we did not need the window for the view.

Although we were there for a short stay for just one afternoon and one night, the impressions are extremely positive. Besides of good location, the guest house looks nice, new and feels really cosy. The room was in good shape and very clean, highest score for the bathroom, new and crystal clean. They left at reception desk for additional use more coffe, tea, sugar, towels, toiletres, candies, fruits. It is obvious they are dedicated for guests to feel comfortable during the stay. The lady staff we met shoetly in person was an additional prove for that, very pleasant and nice..

We did not like the rain in the morning when we were leaiving for our flight :))) But the guesthouse is friendly helpful even then :) We noticed they left umbrellas for guests to use during their stay surprised by the rain in Budapest.
