We stayed with the family and everybody was really kind, generous and welcoming. We liked the room very much, we slept very well. I like the quietness and the birds on trees courtyards to wake us up. The location is quiet. Easy to access to the center. We tryed the local food cook by the host ajd it was really yummy.

Mary, the host is a sweetheart. The entire family made me feel welcome. The first hotel I booked canceled last minute so I ended up here. I'm a stingy backpacker on an Enfield and the price is a little more than I'm used to paying but it was worth it. Fort Cochin is definitely an upmarket kind of place, so one should expect to pay a bit more. Clean, well maintained rooms with lovely balcony. Good energy all around. I didn't try the food but it looked and smelled amazing.

very nice host. Breakfast (extra) was good.
non AC rooms. Cold water in the shower head, but you can fill a hot bucket from the bottom faucet. If are unlucky you will get the small room in which the double bed is made of two matress, one of which is made of straw with uneven surface and has spikes that penetrate thru the bedding. The rooms are at the upper floor and are very hot, for us the fan was not enough. In other rooms it was more tolerable. Not everything that is listed as "in your room" is actually in your room.
