As we entered we were pleasantly surprised of how homely it was presented, clean and comfortable, however the only concern we have is the doona covers and pillows cases change after every stay as we were only required to strip the sheets off the beds and place towels in the laundry, I think a top sheet and bottom sheet needs to be made up on all beds, overall I would book to another stay.

On arrival the garden from the outside looked like it had been an abandoned home, but once inside it was fine, although there were definitely repairs and maintenance through some of the doors and cupboard doors in the kitchen that could be under

I liked that we could bring our Miniature Schnauzer's with us and the different options and layout of the bedrooms. The house was warm, and tidy on the inside. Check in was 3pm and as we drove from Bendigo, we had arrived a tad earlier. It was lovely that the host allowed us to enter the property prior to the set time. The main room is gorgeous! and I'm told the bed was very comfy. The main bathroom that the three front bedrooms use has been updated and is practical, spacious and great natural light. Also, plenty of hairdryer's as well, and they were high quality. The shower does leak with the water puddling near the toilet, and the showerhead needs some attention. But overall, a very nice bathroom. The kitchen is spacious, with plenty of people able to comfortably mingle and share a platter. Our family get together was enjoyable and i would recommend the property to others.

I would call this property a work in progress! There were many comments and observations about the property which i must share to give a true reflection of our stay. First impressions as you drive in, is that the property is not very well maintained, at all. The garden has been left to ruins and the front entrance is unloved and dusty. It looked a bit sad. There were no tea towels, no hand towel's, no tablets for the dishwasher The lounge lacked enough seating for the amount of people that the property can house. The glass doors to the old lounge which has been converted to a bedroom with bunks, kept opening and the attempt to cover the dual glass doors needs attention. The kitchen cupboards were uneven, and unusual, but they looked good. No champagne glasses either. The outdoor area was terrible. Everything was overgrown, mops and cleaning equipment on the back deck, and again the property really needs some TLC, but the dogs loved it! One more thing, the unexpected visit from a neighbour on the Sunday night, banging on the front door and window which looks into the house, to advise us about the house rules re: the bins, which we already knew, I thought was a bit much. Nice enough man but totally unnecessary.
