Convenient and spacious stay to enjoy Finale Ligure to the fullest

I stayed here with my husband, a friend, and our two dogs, and it was the perfect choice thanks to the dog-friendly policy and two comfortable bedrooms. The apartment is very spacious, well-stocked, and clean, with plenty of balcony space (even if the views are of other buildings). The location couldn’t be better — right across from the beach promenade, surrounded by restaurants and cafés. It was so easy to walk everywhere and enjoy Finale Ligure to the fullest.

A few small details could have made our stay even better: providing shampoo/conditioner and bar soap for guests; replacing the pillows with more comfortable ones; and giving clearer check-in instructions with an explanation, followed by a picture. I also would have preferred an earlier check-in than 4pm and a later check-out than 10am to enjoy the full value of the stay.

Ein unangenehmes Erlebnis.

Die Lage. Ausstattung war ok. Alles etwas lieblos mit Plastikpflanzen eingerichtet aber zweckmäßig. Obwohl es hieß, dass es kein W-LAN gibt, gab es W-LAN. Das war gut. Nach einem sehr unangenehmen Gespräch mit der Gastgeberin wurde zumindest ein Stellplatz in der Garage zur Verfügung gestellt und die Kosten dafür übernommen. Ein früher Check-in war möglich.

Also wir die Unterkunft gebucht haben, wurde uns ein kostenloser Parkplatz zugesagt. Dies wurde auch schriftlich nach Abschluss der Buchung bestätigt. Nachdem wir für die Unterkunft gezahlt hatten (einen Tag vor Anreise) wurde es dubios. Zunächst wurden wir gefragt, ob wir einen Stellplatz in der Garage für 10 Euro pro Nacht hinzubuchen möchten. Als wir dies verneinten und darauf verwiesen, dass es ja einen kostenlosen Parkplatz gibt, wurde dies verneint. Es gäbe lediglich die Möglichkeit in der Garage für 10 Euro pro Nacht zu parken. Von einem kostenlosen Parkplatz wollte die “Gastgeberin” nichts mehr wissen. Als wir sie mit der Unterkunftsbeschreibung und ihrer schriftlichen Bestätigung konfrontierten, wurde es unschön. So wurde in einer sarkastischen Art und Weise mit uns umgegangen, wie wir es selten erleben mussten. In dieser Auseinandersetzung wurde uns vorgeworfen, kein “Verständnis” für die Parksituation zu haben. Nach weiteren unangemessenen Aussagen wurde seitens der “Gastgeberin” festgestellt, dass sie noch nie ein so unangenehmes Gespräch führen musste. Dem konnten wir uns nur anschließen. In Kürze: Diese Unterkunft verfügt zu keiner Jahreszeit über einen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Man wir nach dem Bezahlen und kurz vor der Anreise damit konfrontiert. Eine Stornierung war dann nicht mehr möglich. Die “Gastgeberin” hat es geschafft, dass wir uns sehr unwohl gefühlt haben. Im persönlichen Gespräch war sie uneinsichtig und wurde ausfällig.
