Gîte de l'Antiquaire au cœur de la Citadelle Blaye

Excellent gîte in an extraordinary location. The house is extremely well equipped, we enjoyed a lot the beautiful private terrace and were very thankful for the a/c during the hot days. Nico is a great host and even offered a cleaning and change of bedding / towels etc. during the stay. We couldn’t have asked for more and loved every minute of our stay.

The property was exceptional. Nicolas (host) was very helpful and obviously has a passion for antiques and interior design. The furniture and decor were beautiful and very French! The property had everything you could wish for including a well equipped kitchen and a lovely private walled garden with a hot tub. The little touches like washing machine and dishwasher tablets in the kitchen etc were very thoughtful. Quite frankly if you stay here and don’t like it, there is something wrong with you, it was perfect! Many thanks Nicolas, we will be back! Gareth and Samantha.

Amazing and beautiful house, furnished with so much love, with everything you need during your stay. We just didn't want to go out! Everything was much better than expected, and Nicolas is a great host, looking after every single detail. Hope we can go back there soon!
