Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. A small, cozy apartment. Sufficiently equipped. Space for a car under the roof. Deer outside the window.

A small kitchen burner. Low ceiling in the bedroom.

The coffee was incredible, loved the private covered carport and enclosed yard with sun cover and table where I could sit outside and drink coffee and journal. Nice neighborhood for waking my dogs. The Aveda bath products and shampoo/conditioner. Great kitchen.

The steep ladder up to the bedroom. I'm terrified of falling, so I would up sleeping on the couch. Couldn't imagine if I had to go to the bathroom and descend on that ladder half asleep.

The house is located in a quiet residential area with almost no noise at all. Since you have the whole house, there is nobody around to make noise. There were ample amounts of good liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner. They have a full-size fridge. Alpine is a nice town with quite some good food and a nice visitor center.

Bugs, bugs everywhere! At least three different types of bugs. The moment I checked in, the starving mosquitoes started eating me alive. Luckily, I had insect repellent with me, and they stopped being so much of a problem after I used the repellent. However, one or two still bit me after that. I had to spray myself and the area around the bed with insect repellent when I go to bed to keep those pesky mosquitoes away while I sleep. Then there were these critters (see photo) crawling around the house and all over my stuff. Who knows what they crawled over before crawling onto my stuff.
