Ideally situated for the town and river
The carpets were badly stained, the car park although convenient was expensive, the coffee facilities provided were nadequate , there was no balcony furniture

The location was good and the bed was comfy
We had a triple room with 2 males in the room we wasn’t able to use the shower comfortably because the bathroom has a glass window looking in to the shower with no blinds.
Also we had a disagreement and misunderstood about the breakfast we were told the breakfast was included when we checked in then on the morning we went down to have breakfast nothing was said about extra charges so we ate what was the worse breakfast we had on our whole trip of 6 different hotels.
under cooked cold bacon cold scrambled eggs
Bread that tasted like sugar then when we checked out they started shouting at my group saying we had to pay for breakfast so I told them we were told it was included and we wasn’t paying for breakfast they then told me ok no problem and we left
I then received a message and a charge on my bank for 2 rooms of breakfast even tho the one room didn’t have breakfast

Location
Quite dingy, stains in the carpet, only 1 coffee cup despite paying for a couple, note in room stated we needed to free the room by 11am although booking.com stated 12pm. To be fair they left us stay when I asked but it was awkward. Had to pay 20 Euros to park for 1 night which should have been clearer

The hotel is perfectly located just at the river Seine, c. 10 minutes from the cathedral. Easy check-in both in person as well as after hours with key boxes. If you're in Rouen for business and don't plan to stay for long in rather small room with no actual desk it's perfectly fine.
The room – especially the bathroom – is really small and needs some refreshing (burned out holes in the curtains, hard to close door, etc.). Also, the hotel is located at the very busy street and is be a bit noisy during the evenings and at night.

Location and price
At the hotel I was told I had to pay a tourist tax but on booking.com it said the cost of my stay included all taxes and charges. This needs to be clear for future bookings

Location was perfect to visit the Cathedral’s, a stones throw away from the river and the boat tours, perfect breakfast and wonderful staff.
More space in the lift.

Staff were amazing, I got confused about where to park as there is a public car park next to their private one (there's is on the right behind a white roll-up garage door). When she realised my mistake, the receptionist came out with me, showed me what to do, and waited with me until I was parked correctly. Great customer service!
She also then showed me where to go for some food in the evening and I had a lovely meal.
The room was small but clean, and the bed was comfortable - very firm, but I prefer that to it being too soft.
My room was on the second floor, and in the morning, the smell of cigarette smoke that came into the room was incredibly strong and really unpleasant - not sure if the floor below is smoking or if floor 2 is, but it was genuinely horrible.
There was also a really horrible toilet smell when another room flushed their loo!!
The noise of others flushing their toilet and the water coursing really loudly through the pipes was also enough to wake me up in the night.
Overall, as I was only studying 1 night, these weren't big problems, but I would have asked to move rooms if I was staying longer.

Bedroom decoration is lovely, the bed was good and the shower too. We arrived after midnight but entering our room was easy, instructions to get the keys were clear and simple.
Maybe it's because we arrived near the end of the services but the breakfast was disapointing, scrambled eggs were dry, there was not much choices, it was lacking cottage cheese and pancakes.

Although the reception lady doesn’t speak English, she is very kind and supportive when we checked in.
Hotel is right next to a BUSY road. If you open the window it’s very disturbing, if you don’t you feel suffocated on a hot summer day. Room is very small.

Location was good, easy access to town
The fire alarm went off in the morning while we were still sleeping, I don't think the staff handled it very well

Location, parking space
Room size, parking price stated on the site was not updated (18€ instead of 14€), cleanliness in general is not so appealing, exhaust in the bathroom was not working.

Parking was an issue.

Nicely furnished rooms, balcony with the river view, not crowded, very close to city center
A bit strange entrance that really doesn't look like a hotel. It's ok, but not superclean.
Acceptable option but nothing special

The food was well prepared and self service was OK. HOWEVER on arrival the receptionist charged 56,80 Euros but next morning I found out the exact charge should have been 8,90 euros per person! The staff on duty were not able to explain and the receptionist was not on duty until 3.00pm. I am writing to the hotel for a refund, copy to Booking.com
Being overcharged for Breakfast

the location was very good, hotel was clean, staff helpful
The soundproofing wasn’t perfect, we could listen the the cars from the 6th floor, bed was comfortable but the pillows were too big. But all in all, the overall experience was good. The breakfast though was extremely poor and not of a good quality. Moreover, there was not much space for all the guests and the second day, that we arrived at the salle à manger around 9:00, the quantity of what was offered was not enough and many things were missing.

the noise of the cars in the street but that us nothing

Superb location close to historic city centre and to trams and buses for other locations. Very quiet; effective double glazing. Nice view from room over the River Seine. Room very recently modernised; functional but comfortable. Superb shower. Friendly staff. Continental 'help yourself' breakfast good with fair choice of cold food at a reasonable price.
From the outside is does not look very impressive. Post war concrete block. Had to phone to get access code as reception was not staffed on arrival. Problem with the lift unable to access ground floor - didn't bother us but guests with heavy luggage might struggle up the first flight of stairs
