Gästehaus Winzerhof Bader

We self-catered in a beautifully-appointed kitchen/dining area. A first class, well-stocked supermarket with plenty of parking, the Edeka Paul, is a couple of kilometers along an extension of the Hauptstrasse. The upstairs Atzelnest apartment (our second visit this year) is immaculately presented and leaves nothing to be desired. Two spacious, en-suite bedrooms, a lounge area off the dining one, a balcony, Frau Bader is always there but never intrudes. Asked if we needed anything, the answer was simple: with everything provided in abundance, what else could we possibly need? Secure inner-courtyard parking is supplemented by a small, public parking area directly opposite the Winzerhof, which is mostly unused during the day. The surrounding countryside, dominated by vineyards and castles, is stunning, dining facilities aplenty. And the local, hard-working people are friendly. Highly recommended.

The above fully negates any need for an answer to this question, bar one: what didn't we like? The fact that we didn't stay for a second week.

Sehr gute Lage und sehr sauber. Durch die Scheune gelangt man in einen, auch für Gäste, zugänglichen traumhaften Garten den man leider nicht vom Balkon aus sehen kann.

Die untere Wohnung war leider im Wohnbereich etwas dunkel , das mag in der oberen Wohnung anders sein. Schön wären auch 1-2 Decken für abends, die Heizkörper wurden im Bad und in der Wohnung nicht wirklich warm. Aber hätten wir auf Nachfrage evtl bekommen. Trotz allem eine sehr schöne Location und die Mutter von der Vermieterin, die sich um alles kümmert, ist sehr nett.

Well positioned, secure parking, spotlessly clean, fully appointed apartment, ‘central’ to a stunning Landscape of Wine. A caring owner, all necessary facilities within a 5km radius.
