Location fantastic!!!!

2 rooms reserved for 3 days no cleaning… unclear cleaning guidelines- information discrepancy between booking app and on paper in rooms. Limited food options in restaurant

The friendly, effective staff, the room space and furniture, and the overall campus architecture. The position of the hotel, close to the city centre and the open-air museum.

The breakfast is a bad joke (worst coffee ever, one non-tasty kind of cheese, one non-tasty bacon, etc). All rooms are at groundfloor, with poor phonic isolation. When the neighbours were talking (say at midnight) in front of our closed window, it was like they were next to me in bed. In addition, on the flat "roof" of these rooms there is a sort of large terrace (with a different entrance than the hotel), full of people until late in the night. Therefore, if a child runs there, say, it's like running right over one's head during sleep.

Breakfast and room size were good. Worth noting- a junior room is actually two interconnecting rooms that can sleep four people. We booked two junior rooms for three people (couple + 1) and we had four rooms in total (2 x2 interconnecting rooms) so we could have had 8 people stay! Great rooms fir families if you need your kids in an adjoining room.

Amenities in rooms were inconsistent. We had two double rooms and some had cups fir coffee and water and other ones didn't. Lots of stairs so be mindful if you have lots of suitcases.

The location and style of the property were really good

Our room was poor in quality . There was as damp in the ceiling with so much dust particles falling onto our pillows and it affected us especially my wife who has asthma. We called reception many times from the room phone and no one ever answers. We were there for three nights and on the second night they offered to move us but it was inconvenient to repack and move . The breakfast was very poor for our requirements and there wasn’t any toast or English breakfast tea . Did not enjoy the experience we were hoping for
