Lovely stay!

the Villa was in a stunning location and was ideal for family and friends. Our host, Domitilla couldnt have been more helpful during our stay, arranging restaurants, transport, boats and general information o the area - thoroughly recommend

The property is beautiful with unbelievable views of the sea, port and surrounding area. You can wake up early and watch the sun rise over the mountains in Tuscany. The pool is fantastic with amazing views. The property is great for kids, as there is a kids bedroom with lots of toys and books. We had some issues with the air conditioning and plumbing, but the host was incredibly responsive and everything was fixed very quickly.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa casa per una settimana. Tre coppie e tre bambini. La posizione della villa é impagabile: vista stupenda e grande tranquillità. Purtroppo la casa non è dotata ne di aria condizionata ne di ventilatori a soffitto, quindi di notte fa caldo e si fatica a dormire. La casa é in teoria dotata di Wi-Fi, ma non ha mai funzionato nel periodo della nostra permanenza. Il livello generale di pulizia della casa dovrebbe essere migliorato. Per fare un esempio, al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato la cucina e le stoviglie sporche ed abbiamo dovuto passarci del tempo per renderle praticabili. Malgrado la descrizione della villa indichi la presenza di un barbecue, quello trovato era inutilizzabile perché arrugginito e privo della griglia centrale. Dopo un paio di giorni la fossa biologica si é riempita costringendoci a respirare puzza di fogna ogni volta che facevamo la doccia. Molte delle pareti interne erano coperte di ragnatele o mostravano l’usura del tempo. Facciamo questo tipo di vacanza in grandi villa ovunque in Italia da anni ed abbiamo una certa esperienza di cosa si possa trovare per questo range di prezzi di affitto. Per questo mi sento di dire che la villa necessita di una rinfrescata generale che consenta di apprezzare al meglio le sue grandi potenzialità. We stayed in this house for a week. Three couples and three children. The position of the villa is priceless: wonderful view and great tranquility. Unfortunately, the house is not equipped with air conditioning or ceiling fans, so at night it is hot and you can hardly sleep. The house is in theory equipped with Wi-Fi, but it never worked in the period of our stay. The general level of house cleaning should be improved. For example, when we arrived we found dirty kitchen and dirty dishes and we had to spend some time to make them workable. Despite the description of the villa indicates the presence of a barbecue, the one found was unusable because rusty and without the central grid. After a couple of days, the biological pit filled up and forced us to breathe the smell of sewage every time we took a shower. Many of the interior walls were covered with cobwebs or showed the wear and tear of time. We do this kind of holiday in large villas anywhere in Italy since years and we have some experience of what we can find for this range of rental prices. For this reason I would say that the villa needs a general refreshment to allow better appreciating its great potential.
