Trek the beautiful trails nearby on foot or bike, or bring your clubs to one of the local golf courses and hit the fairways. Though there isn't direct lake access from the cabin, all it takes is a short drive before you're lounging blissfully on the beach or frolicking in the water.
Then again, there's just as much fun to be had outside right at home! Wake up every morning to picturesque sunrises out on the furnished deck with a cup of coffee and a good book. In the evenings, take advantage of the cornhole set before the group chef sears dinner to perfection. Indulge together alfresco on the deck or make a picnic out of it and dine closer to the lake. End the day's festivities by roasting marshmallows at the firepit and making s'mores as the stars come out.
Though you'll undeniably be tempted to remain outside during your stay, the house itself is just as inviting! When you think of an outdoor retreat, the decor, abundance of natural lighting, and general ambience of this property is exactly what comes to mind. The bathroom is on the main floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor. The staircase is lighted but could be a mobility issue for some.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

My wife and I booked this place for an anniversary get-away and enjoyed our time there. It is a cozy home with pretty views of the lake. Our only issue, and this is on us for not doing better research, the home is farther away from CDA then we realized and there are really no services in the area.

The home, view and property are stunning. The only and major complaint was that we arrived after dark and there wasn’t any outside lights. We had to use car headlights to find our way down to the house. We then discovered that there was only 1 working outside light and it was on the backside of house. We reported the problem and it was checked out promptly. We were told that it required an electrician to fix the issue. Our hope is that it’s fixed before someone gets hurt, while fumbling their way down the stairs in the dark. Outside of that issue we were extremely happy with the home. Would definitely stay here again.

I reserved this beautiful cabin for my special someone and me to celebrate our first birthday together, and it was everything we could have hoped for! The cabin was perfectly furnished, with a well-stocked kitchen, a variety of fun games (even cornhole!), and a fantastic grill and outdoor seating area. The fireplace set the perfect mood for a cozy evening, and the privacy and safety of the space made it feel like a true retreat. It’s clear the homeowner put a lot of care into creating such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. We’re already excited about visiting again in the future!

Wow! This cottage was in a wonderful location with views of the lake. Highly wooded, easy, dirt road access location with large spaces between neighbors. Osprey nest in a tree just 50ft away. It was about a 1/2 mile walk to the lake where my dog could swim every morning.
The inside was with rustic decor and comfortable. All amenities you could possibly want in the kitchen, bath and laundry areas.
I would highly recommend this cottage for 4 or less people as it has 1 bath.
