There is a shuttle that drops you off at the mountain located in the main & overflow public parking lot. The shuttle runs back and forth every few minutes. The shuttle takes about 3 minutes to get from the lot to the lift/ticket/base area. The drop off location from the shuttle to the lift/ticket/base area takes about 2 minutes to walk, which first conveniently passes by Happy Camp, where you drop the kids off for ski school and down the escalator to the lift/ticket/base area, It couldn’t be easier.
The Sunlight neighborhood is elevated above the valley floor with sweeping panoramic views of Mount Werner, Emerald Mountain, Sleeping Giant, and Copper Ridge. Conveniently located only one mile from downtown Steamboat Springs, less than five miles from the ski mountain and just a half a mile from a “free-to-ride” bus stop.
