About this cabin rental
--Enjoy the amazing views and peace and quiet in this new build mountain home. Great for hosting multiple families or friends. Large outdoor deck and living space to enjoy the amazing views of the Continental Divide and surrounding mountains. Located on 6 acres of wooded property with plenty of wildlife viewing.
Lots of recreational activities in the surrounding area including fishing, hiking, or our on-property disc golf course. We also have mini basketball, ping pong and shuffle board in the basement. Less than 10 minutes away from Tarryall Reservoir where you can fish or watch wildlife.

We absolutely loved our stay at Velvet's Mountain Getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home thanks to the amenities provided, the fully stocked kitchen, and the great assortment of games and puzzles for the whole family. We especially enjoyed seeing so many beautiful species of birds and being able to walk with our dog across the property in such a peaceful, private setting. For anyone looking to eat out, the Stage Stop restaurant nearby was a great find as well. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was so cozy! Was a great layout, and had tons of space for many! We enjoyed the property, the land and its beautiful views!

This cabin was incredible! Peaceful, quiet location and had everything we needed. The mountain views were amazing! It is a decent drive away from groceries and towns but that was part of the charm for us! Roads were easy to navigate but not a lot of cell service (again, a perk for our "offline" trip!- wifi worked fine though!) Perfect for families with kids of all ages. It was very clean and communication with the host was great. She even gave us some helpful information to prepare us for bears that had been seen nearby. Would recommend this place to anyone needing a relaxing family trip!

Its a beautiful drive to the home. The area is very very quiet. There is a lot for kids: of course tv, outaide the home, and theres a large cabinet with loads of board games. There a lot of sleep space and the home is very very clean. The night time view of the sky is incredible. We stayed a few places in Jefferson and and this is one of the best for the family.
