There are rentals for paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks to take on the lake, with walking and biking trails around the perimeter of the water. Walk around and tour the small town to find a crepe shop, gift shop with ice cream, and a quaint coffee shop. In the winter, you'll find a ski resort nearby, so bring your skis and snowboard!

Perfect location for annual conference or events at Stuart Auditorium or the chapel at Lake junaluska. The porch was awesome.

The Chapel Side home met our needs with location and supplies. We had more than enough room and never felt crowded.
The cleanliness of the house was lacking. The cleaners may have been rushed but we were left with the feeling of “yuck” when it came to the the bathrooms, the bed’s comforters, and external trash cans.
The management team, responsible for addressing issues with the home, were slow to respond or didn’t respond at all. They did not come to fix the clogged toilet, a call made on Friday and still not addressed by checkout on Sunday.
With a little care and attention to details, the Chapel Side home should provide a wonderful experience for the next visitors.
