You’ll be around 100 yards from the beach, and surrounded by state parks, hip local restaurants and shopping on Hwy. 30A. Charming towns like Rosemary Beach await just down the road. On-site amenities include a pool and shared grills. Outdoor space at home includes a shady, pool-front balcony on the main level, perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails, and a private balcony off the lower-level, primary bedroom.
Inside, you’ll find luxurious, high-end furnishings and finishes, making you feel pampered from the moment you walk through the door. The full, modern kitchen features sleek stainless steel appliances, including a Viking stove, and plenty of workspace on the granite countertops. The open living and dining space encourages gathering, and there’s plenty of room for everyone at mealtime between the dining table for eight and kitchen barstools. Spend the evening relaxing with a little TV on the plush sectional after a day of exploration. At the end of the night, three well-appointed bedrooms await, each with an en suite bathroom. The house itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and was spotless upon arrival. It’s located near a gorgeous stretch of white sandy beach with clear water, and the pool on-site was clean and very enjoyable. The price point was fair for the size and quality of the home, and the maintenance staff (especially one individual who helped us with the hurricane doors) was responsive and kind.
However, there were several issues that affected our overall experience:
Construction: We were not notified of active construction next door until the day we checked in. The noise was loud—even from the beach—and the smoke and dust made it difficult to enjoy the balcony. The walking path to the beach was sometimes blocked due to construction equipment.
Beach Access Confusion: There was no clear guidance on how to access the beach. The main route involved crossing a dune lake with murky water, and we weren't made aware of an alternate path until later.
Beach Gear: No beach equipment was provided which was understood, though a few leftover items from past guest were in the garage. This would have been nice to know was a possibility.
Garage Issues: A golf cart (not for guest use) was stored in the garage. Again would have been nice to have been notified. The garage fridge was broken—ice we purchased melted and leaked all over.
Coffee Setup: The listing only mentioned a drip coffee maker, but there was also a K-cup option available. This was a nice surprise, but clear details would’ve helped us prepare better.
Hurricane Doors: We weren’t given instructions on how to secure the hurricane doors until day 3. This affected both indoor temperature and our feeling of safety, especially at night.
Amenities & Gate Access: There was confusion about access to clubhouse amenities (we were told we had access at the gate but later learned we didn’t). Also, a neighborhood gate code would have made it easier to reach the bike/walking paths along 30A.
Overall, the home is lovely and the location is great, but the lack of clear communication—especially regarding construction, safety features, and amenities—significantly impacted our experience. With a few improvements in guest communication and support, this could be a fantastic vacation rental.

Beautiful townhome in Watersound, great location n a beautiful community, about 100 yards from the beach. Great features and styling, comfortable beds and plenty of space. Could have fit 3 families. A bit difficult to find the specific house within the development as the 5G coverage wasn’t great and there are two separate gates. Our biggest gripe was the absolute lack of basic amenities: no shampoo, hand soap and body wash at any of the rooms, no salt, pepper, condiments, cooking oil, no “leave behinds” from prior guests. This is a Vacasa managed home which may indicate the lack of personal touch from hosts, but the attentiveness and response time from the team was lackluster. When we texted them to say there are no toiletries, they stalled and asked us to check all cabinets, and only the next morning a rep was kind enough to connect to the local team and have someone drop toiletries. Even then they did not bring enough! Not very good service for the price.

The home was great but a few big things overlooked when renters are staying at the beach. The home itself is beautifully decorated.
- The pros were access to the beach was great and the pool is just steps away from the condo. The place is stocked with plenty of kitchen gadgets to cook. Close to the Hub too!
A few things that are needed to make the guest experience better are Beach towels, beach chairs or at least information sharing that this is not included in the home so we could have brought them. We had to pay $500 for extra equipment to rent just to sit at the beach. Wi-Fi was not great and no calls would go out or answered while using. The last thing that upset me is that we rented bikes and didn’t realize we would have no access to the codes to go in and out. We only had the gate code which was on the outside of the gate coming in so that was super frustrating and again didn’t use them and we paid $200 to use bikes and they wouldn’t refund. I would probably not rent this home again for lack of caring and attention to detail for the guest paying 6K for 6 days.
