The Baltic Sea resort of Göhren is located on the Mönchgut peninsula and is still deeply influenced by its fishing heritage today. This nearly lost craft is showcased, illustrated, and explained in the museums in and around Göhren—a little journey back in time. In the surrounding small villages, such as Groß Zicker and Gager, you can buy freshly caught Baltic Sea fish from local fishermen pretty much every morning. On Mönchgut itself, there are well-developed biking and hiking trails. This means you can leave your car behind during your stay on the island of Rügen. If the trip back is too far, you’re also welcome to take the bus or the “Rasender Roland” train home. It runs daily from the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren through the Baltic Sea resorts of Baabe, Sellin, and Binz to Putbus and back again.

Haben uns in der Wg.77 sehr wohl gefühlt, alles sauber und vollständig und modern eingerichtet. Auch die ruhige und doch zentrale Lage war super.
Kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.
