After the former tenant had run the Backhof-Helmle Inn—formerly the Mühlencafé—in a very negligent manner, the owner and his team decided to run the inn themselves.
Located in the picturesque health resort of Breitnau, surrounded by beautiful nature, the Backhof-Helmle country inn offers 24 rooms with a total of 58 beds, equipped with satellite TV, a sitting area, and a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hair dryer, as well as a fully furnished vacation apartment. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas! Guests can relax in the garden, at the children’s playground, or on the terrace.
The Black Forest region offers numerous activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing. The Breitnau ski lift, the toboggan run, and various cross-country ski trails are each about 300-500 meters away. Lake Titisee and Mount Feldberg are approximately 6 km and 15 km from the property, respectively. The popular guest card (Hochschwarzwald Card) is included free of charge for stays of two nights or more. With this card, you’ll receive discounted or even free admission to over 100 attractions.
Beautiful sights such as the Ravennaschlucht Gorge, Lake Titisee, the spa town of Hinterzarten, the Black Forest city of Freiburg, the Triberg Waterfalls, and the hiking and winter paradise of Feldberg are all nearby.
