About this resort
Come and experience a lake vacation with us and enjoy the finer things in life. Relax and unwind as you sip your coffee in the morning overlooking a beautiful clean and clear lake and reconnect with nature as you observe the bald eagles outside your door, loons calling , and the sound of frogs off in the distance. Roast marshmallow and enjoy your own fire and be sure to look up to see the billions of stars in the sky and if you’re lucky you may see the Northern Lights in the wee hours of the night.
Round Lake is a clean and clear 1100 surface acres and up to 69 feet deep with an inlet and an outlet great for swimming, water sports and fishing. Enjoy our level beach area with shade, grass, sand, BBQ and bathroom. Sit and relax and enjoy the sun as the kids play with sand toys, boogie boards, lake mat, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, paddle boards all FREE.
For rentals we offer a clean 20 foot pontoon set up for fishing and cruising the lake, 50 hp motor. $120/4 hours, $195/8 hours gas included.
Also a 2021 16.8 Bass Finder, 50hp, trolling motor, fish finder, live well. $150/24 hours, $450/weekly, gas included.
To keep everyone busy when out of the water we have half court basketball, tennis, 3 horseshoe pits, chalk and bubbles, lawn games and 4 playgrounds.
The lodge was built in 2013 and provides pizza, sandwiches, camp store, game room, board games, ice cream, ice, gas, gift store, tackle, laundry, and firewood.
We are centrally located in Becker County about 30 miles from Detroit Lakes, Park Rapids, and Itasca State Park.
We have housekeeping cabins, with a damage deposit which is refundable.

The cabin was nice and the location was great! The lake has good fishing. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, tennis and ping pong. There is no WiFi, so tell the kids to go outside 😊

We were very delighted to stay at Tamarac Resort. Sheila is a sweet, kind, no nonsense host. We arrived on a Friday and by Saturday the stress of city life had melted away. Our kids spent almost every day in the water and our oldest daughter learned how to paddle board and kayak. We spent a lot of time watching the bald eagle that frequents the trees above the cabin. The kids loved catching fish, and finding frogs, toads and garter snakes around the property. The cabin was clean and everything was in good working order. You are a distance from any grocery stores so pick up groceries on your way. There are a couple of small restaurants "close" but why not just cook out on the grill and enjoy the peaceful surroundings? There are also lawn games and 3 playgrounds for the kids to enjoy. Definitely a place we will keep on our list for future trips.

We are two adults who needed a few days to relax and unwind. The cabin was clean and well-appointed (but bring your own towels, napkins, soap, and hair dryer if you are the sort who does your hair on vacation). The location is on the way to nowhere, so there's little traffic and no light pollution. Lots of stars over the beautiful lake. We rented the optional pontoon and everything went super smoothly with that also. A few days drifting across the lake left us refreshed.
