INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

The room size was perfect for two people. The bed was comfortable which is a big deal for us! Loved having two bathrooms and a laundry room as well. There was a cleaning issue that I addressed with housekeeping but it was taken care of promptly and professionally. I had to put a few dishes in the dishwasher before use but not a big deal. The location of this room was a love/hate thing…It is on the 3rd floor which is where the catwalk is so if you aren’t going to the 1st floor for the beach or pool, everyone goes to the third floor for their room or more elevators which created some noise but not enough to be upset about. This unit is located in the area where people load and unload on the elevator while every other unit on this floor is accessed outside. There were a couple instances of someone randomly ringing our doorbell but again, I didn’t let this ruin my trip and figured it was kids just being kids. I also thought there would be more noise in this unit because of the pool but it wasn’t bad at all! We always bring a little fan or noise maker and that might have helped. I was surprised at how quick the elevators were! There wasn’t a lot of waiting around for them at all! The cabana’s were a nice touch to rent for a day… just be sure to grab a couple lounge chairs outside of the one you rent early so you will have those! Every drink I ordered from the pool bar was spot on!!! I would stay in this unit again.
