About this house rental

Beautifully maintained 3 bedroom home with 2 and 1/2 baths in upscale community. Open floor plan. Wood floors throughout. Screened in porch. Large yard with beautiful garden. Explore Maine and comeback to privacy and quiet to relax and enjoy each other. Portland center 7 miles. Nearest beach 14 miles. Nearest lighthouse 14 miles. Kennebunkport 27 miles. We are located next to Portland, Maine. The ocean is within 1/2 an hour with various beaches. Trips to the islands in Portland harbor offer a day of ocean air. Freeport and LL Bean are 40 minutes away. Day trip on the coast to fishing villages and light houses. Maine Botanical Garden is just over an hour. North Conway NH is just over an hour. We offer a variety of ocean, mountains, city and a rural home to return to for an evening of quiet after a busy day of exploring.

This was a perfect home away from home for our vacation! We loved the screened-in patio in the secluded, wooded backyard. The gardens are beautifully kept and the common areas were perfect for socializing for our family. The house is very homey and welcoming, with everything you need. All bedrooms are on the second level which was perfect for our family with young kids. The owners were super nice and accessible when a minor mishap and outdoor issue came up. This property allowed for a short drive to most of the local sights, but provided a quiet respite after a long day of exploring Portland. Highly recommended!

The house was lovely, with a big yard for the kids to play. They had a wonderful garden of vegetables we were allowed to enjoy. We picked tomatoes, basil, cucumbers and green beans. The house was central to locations, but out of the way enough to enjoy the quiet. The host responded immediately to any questions or issues we had. They send us some great hiking tips, too!
