Plan your next OBX vacation at " Neon Moon" (SNH-43) This classic semi-ocean front beach cottage with a hot tub! This very comfortable house is so close to the beach that you can easily sway in the hammock to the sounds of the waves. There are wonderful ocean views from the open Great room and large screened in porch. Relax in this amazing area and watch the sunrise and dolphin swim by from the comfort of your own home. The house is set up with two ocean facing Queen bedrooms each with ocean views and deck access that share jack n jill bathrooms with a twin and bunk room. The set up makes this house perfectly suited for 2 families or 1 extended family to enjoy the iconic Nags Head beach lifestyle. For your convenience there is even a luggage lift to assist in getting the groceries to the third floor newly renovated kitchen.
Top Floor/ Large ocean facing screened Porch off of the open Great Room with a dining table (6), large living room with smart TV, newly renovated, well stocked (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc) kitchen with large center island (seats 4), extra game table (4), sunset deck (sound views - even a glimpse of the Bodie Island lighthouse), and powder room.
First Floor/ Queen ocean side bedroom with TV and deck access shares Jack 'n' Jill bathroom with bedroom with DuoBunk. A 2nd Queen ocean side bedroom with deck access shares Jack 'n' Jill bathroom with bedroom with 2 twin beds.
Ground Level/ Laundry with washer, dryer, and toilet, Hot Tub (6), outside shower, foot wash, fish cleaning station.
Extras: Luggage lift, Hot Tub (6), outside shower, foot wash, ground level bathroom, High speed Wireless Internet, Central AC and Heat. Parking: 4 cars. No Smoking. No pets. DTB: 300 Feet. Bed linens provided, bath towels may be rented for $7/set (bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth)
Cancellations: If, after your initial payment, you need to cancel your reservation, every attempt will be made to re-rent the property. All notices of cancellation must be in writing. If the property is re- rented at full price, you will receive a full refund of moneys paid, less a $150 cancellation fee, travel insurance premium (if purchased) and all applicable taxes. If the property is able to be re-rented, but at a discounted rate from what was paid, you will be refunded your rental payment, less the difference in the rental rate and the $150 cancellation fee. If the property is not able to be re-rented, you will forfeit all moneys paid to this reservation.

Generally great stay, other than the malfunctioning of the lift: which was addressed. Good outfitted kitchen: Top outside porch: great morning spot for coffee Five friends in group: all were happy with setting.

We had a great time here with 2 adults and 3 children 5 years old and under. The property is as pictured, with beautiful views of the beach. Everything was clean and spotless. The kitchen was well-appointed. Beach access was about 5 houses down. It's a quick easy walk for adults/teens, and a little more difficult with multiple small children. Make sure to have activities planned out for small kids, as most places close at 5 pm. Lastly, make sure to bring extra towels as bath mats, as there are not any in the bathrooms.
