About this apartment rental
A vacation with a view of Husum’s Schlosspark and the historic gatehouse: our newly built vacation apartment in downtown Husum can accommodate up to four people.
Location
Our tastefully furnished, modern, and light-filled vacation apartment is located across from the Schlosspark. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the idyllic harbor, Husum’s downtown with its many lovely shops, and the THEO shopping center. There are excellent, cozy restaurants and cafés in downtown, in the “Untere Neustadt” district, and at the harbor. The movie theater (which still serves food and drinks!) is within walking distance. And the North Sea/Dockkoog is just a 3-minute drive or a 20-minute walk away (the sunsets are well worth it!). Husum’s train station is within easy walking distance. By train, you can reach St. Peter-Ording and Westerland/Sylt in just one hour.
Amenities
The vacation rental, located in a new building from 2020, offers everything you need for a relaxing North Sea vacation: a cozy, bright living room with a sofa, armchairs, cable TV with internet, Wi-Fi, a dining area, and an open-concept, high-quality kitchen equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter size 4), electric kettle, Nespresso machine, toaster, etc.
One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 × 200), and the second with two single beds. The modern bathroom (accessible from the master bedroom) is equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet, washer-dryer, and hair dryer. There is also a separate restroom available.
On the enclosed balcony, you can relax and enjoy the view of the castle park and the castle.
Special Features
This is a non-smoking residence. We are happy to provide Wi-Fi free of charge. A parking space is available for your use. You can safely store and lock your bicycle in a shed.
An initial set of bed linens and towels is required for this accommodation and is already included in the final price. Additional linen packages can be added through the optional services.
Important note for stays in October 2026:
In October 2026, roof work will be taking place in the area surrounding the building. During the work, there may be occasional construction noise and other disruptions. Use of the balcony may also be temporarily restricted. The rental rate is reduced during this time.

Hat uns wirklich gut gefallen, fast Luxus, wenn man „ nur“ zu zweit anreist, aber ein schöner Luxus. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie ist praktisch, noch recht neuwertig und vollständig eingerichtet (lediglich ein Radio fehlte uns beim Frühstück). Schöne Accessoires. Der Balkon liegt ganz witzig aber sehr nett. Die Unterbringungsmöglichkeit der Fahrräder ist perfekt, zum Autostellplatz geht man uns Haus. THEO liegt kurz hinter dem Haus, bis zum Hafen bzw. der Haupteinkaufsstraße sind es zu Fuß nur wenige Minuten. Die Wohnung liegt quasi "innerstädtisch", Autoverkehr ist immer deutlich zu vernehmen, das muss man berücksichtigen.
Insgesamt aus unserer Sicht sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Wohnung liegt preislich im oberen Bereich. Alles ist neu und gepflegt, die Lage sehr gut. Die Straße daneben ist bei geöffnetem Schlafzimmerfenster für empfindliche Gäste evtl. störend. Hervorzuheben ist die gute Ausstattung der Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt
