About this house rental
This listed thatched-roof Frisian house is part of the historic Großwarft Süderwaygaard complex, the best-preserved Halligwarft in North Frisia. The oldest part of the house was built around 1690.
The Location
The house offers ideal opportunities for a wellness vacation with your dog and serves as a starting point for exploring the North Sea, the Wadden Sea National Park with its Hallig islands and the islands of Föhr, Amrum, and Sylt, as well as for trips to the Baltic Sea and Denmark.
Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy here. The Wadden Sea—a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and national park that’s unique in the world—is practically right on your doorstep. Discover Europe’s most bird-rich area and Germany’s most significant natural landscape.
Schleswig-Holstein offers cultural, culinary, and sporting highlights year-round, all easily accessible from here
, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival or the Schleswig-Holstein Gourmet Festival, a favorite among foodies.
The Amenities
The house, which was completely renovated in 2012, is luxuriously equipped with a sauna, whirlpool, and wood-burning stove for your wellness vacation. Exclusive country-style furniture provides the backdrop for original paintings by artists. A home theater system with Dolby Surround complements the living area. The spacious kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop for discerning home cooks. Both bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, with an emphasis on back-friendly mattresses and a separate workspace. One bedroom features a double bed (180 x 200), while the other has two single beds. The whirlpool in the wellness area features ozone purification (chlorine-free!), and the sauna has a bio-combination stove. A large, fenced-in garden surrounds the house.
Special Features
Both two-legged and four-legged guests can run and play in the large, fenced-in garden. We are happy to provide free Wi-Fi (due to the rural location, internet speeds may fluctuate or experience temporary outages). A starter pack of firewood for the fireplace will be waiting for you in the shed upon arrival. Parking spaces are available on the driveway.
An initial supply of bed linens and towels is required for this property and is already included in the final price.
Additional linen packages can be booked as optional extras.

Das Ferienhaus ist genau so ausgestattet, wie es im Internet beschrieben ist. Die Sauna war toll und auch der Rest der Einrichtung. Tolle Betten und Moebel. Fuer uns war das Haus etwas zu einsam gelegen :-). Wer das mag, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Fuer Neujahr war es super, weil da wenig Geknalle zu hoeren war ( fast nix ). In Summe war es ein toller Urlaub in diesem Haus und alle haben sich wohl gefuehlt. Der Garten ist RIESIG und etwas verwildert, die Hunde haben aber genau diesen Zustand geliebt.

Der für uns perfekte Ort der Entspannung, der Perfekte Ort um abzuschalten und den Alltag zu vergessen. Urig, gemütlich mit Sauna, Whirlpool, Schwedenofen und eine top ausgestatteten Küche. Die Vierbeiner finden genügend Wege zum Auslauf und können im großen Garten toben uns rumflitzen bis zur Erschöpfung.
