TheWateringHole: Pool! Pets, Private, Games, Hot Tub, Wifi, near Attractions!

The pool was too cold to use. Tv in the cabin was good but no satellite and my netflix would not work. The Garden tub in the Master bedroom was not usable as the water came out in such a small amount it would have taken hours to fill it. All in all, i would not stay there again hours to fill it.

We enjoyed our stay here. Note there are a lot of stairs! The main level is the living room/kitchen and bedroom is downstairs. Pool is another level below that. All levels have decks to the outside. Property was clean. We had a great stay.

Like the facilities and location Enjoyed our stay does need some repairs Leak in ceiling near pool table Gas heat in bedroom nor on deck work.

The cabin was in an awesome location, right between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Short drive to everything. While we were there the pool maintenance people showed up one morning & because we didn’t answer quick enough, we were sleeping, they opened the door themselves & scared our kids. They wanted to walk through the house to get to the pool, which would’ve included walking through the master bedroom where we were still sleeping so we insisted they come in through the pool door downstairs to which they replied was very difficult. Apparently they had to empty the humidifier in the pool area bc it hadn’t been working & perform pool maintenance. They added so much chlorine or chemicals to the pool that we could smell it strongly throughout the house, which caused me to get a horrible headache & we had to open some windows even though it was cold & raining to air it out and had to go off for the day bc it was making me sick. When we got there the whole pool area was very damp, condensation on everything, ceiling leading to pool room was dripping onto the stairs. We could tell it was a continuous problem bc there looked to be water leaking from the air vents in the room. There was lots of rust dripping down the wall and where it had puddled on the floor. Everything was wet & gross. They really need to hire a better cleaning crew. There was trash under the night stands, receipts and trash in bedroom drawers, lots of trash and other items under the bed and in the bed frame around the mattress. I wiped up a small water drip that had come from the dishwasher and the paper towel was disgusting. They need to mop the floors badly! We kept flip flops on inside the house bc the kids socks immediately got filthy and I felt the floors were just disgusting. I didn’t allow them to sit or play on the floor either. We brought a brand new air mattress and it was dirty when I went to roll it up and pack it to go home. The couch pull out mattress cover was very stained. There’s glass behind the dart board that is broken and a hazard and needs to be replaced. The video game included in the listing & photos is not there. I emailed prior to arrival to make sure it was in good, working condition & the pool heat was on bc a previous renter mentioned video game not working and the response only said pool heat was on, failed to mention game at all. I emailed back asking for a response to my other questions and got nothing. I wouldn’t stay here again. Filthy.
