About this resort
The Grand Luxxe golf and spa resort is a AAA 5 Diamond property and has been rated by Conde Nast as a top 10 resort in Mexico. Contact me before booking so I can confirm availability with the hotel.
There is marble and tiles throughout the suites, private hot tubs and the largest swimming pools in Mexico. The beach has been rehabilitated and among the amenities is access to the exclusive Grand Bliss Beach Club. Rent includes twice-daily maid service, hotel amenities, and transfers from Airport.
The Grand Luxxe "Junior Villa" suite comes with a convertible living room with a bar fridge, bar sink, microwave and small appliances. It will sleep 2 Adults plus 2 children.
The Grand Luxxe is located in the Riviera Maya just north of Playa del Carmen and the ferry to Cozumel. Among its principal attractions, this extensive mega-resort has many pools including several interactive and interconnected swimming pools, and walkways through meticulously landscaped gardens. There are also luxurious spas and fully equipped gyms.
My wife and I have spent many vacations at the Grand Mayan and Grand Luxxe hotels. The pool areas are spectacular, and the beach is clean clean clean! Adopt a newly hatched turtle from the resort's hatchery and watch it make its way back to the sea!
Resort restaurants are first class and compare well with the best eateries in nearby Playa del Carmen. Email me for pics and suggestions of where to eat and what to see.
The resort has a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and tennis courts: ask about special golf and spa packages.

If you are thinking of staying at Vidanta, I wouldnt think of using another host. Absolutely great communication from beginning to end and a hassle free process because of that. The property is as advertised and you will have a nice vacation.

The property is good, but unfortunately, they are short of staff and the restaurant situation is not good. We were there for a week and could not ever get reservations at any of the locations. Everything was booked a little more than frustrating so we chose to go into Port Morales and eat our dinners.
