In the heart of the Saint-Joseph district, Chez Thomas is a superb 72m² apartment redecorated in January 2019, with a lot of charm, mixing old and modern. It is located on the 2nd floor of a quiet building (no lift).

You will be in a quiet and family area, close to shops.



This apartment is equipped with two spacious bedrooms with a double bed each, and storage.

The living room with a sofa bed for 2 people and a television is very bright.

The kitchen is separated with dining area and equipped (fridge, oven, microwave, hob, Tassimo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pans, pots, dishes and kitchen utensils).

A bathroom with bathtub, washing machine and a toilet complete the apartment.



Free parking in the neighborhood.

Be careful not to park on Friday evening on Place Saint-Joseph, the market taking place there on Saturday morning.



All the accommodation will be yours. Always in the spirit of satisfying you at best during your stay:

The Saint-Joseph district, named after the Saint-Joseph church consecrated in 1900, the district is gradually forming on both sides of the Colmar-Munster railway line (built in 1868) benefits from the extension of industry (Herzog spinning mill, Barth factory, Gensbourger weaving, Borocco factory and Klem workshops). Antoine Herzog had the first workers' housing estate "Bagatelle" built there in 1870. The urbanization of the district marked from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century by numerous individual houses was supplemented by the construction of school and military buildings: the Hirn school (1886-1887), the Pfeffel school (1914), the infantry barracks (1887-1889) and the military hospital (1892-1895). The extension of the district continued after the second war with the construction of housing estates: Cité de France (1947-1959), Cité Langfurch (1948-1950 and 1954-1955) and Cité de la Mittelharth between 1963 and 1968.

Today it is a very popular working-class district where many Colmarians flock on Saturday, the day of the big market.



House rules:

Smoking or using a smoking device will result in a penalty of €250 additional cleaning fee.



Pets are strictly prohibited.



Bed linen and towels as well as standard final cleaning at the end of the stay are included in the price. This includes change of bed linen, general cleaning of the apartment and sanitary facilities.



However, it is up to you to clean and put away the dishes, take down the trash cans, empty the fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave as well as tidy up inside the apartment. If you do not want to take care of this, you can order a supplement called "complete cleaning" of the apartment before your arrival for 30 euros. In the absence of prior reservation of this option, and in the event of non-compliance with these instructions, penalties of €60 for cleaning costs will be invoiced to you.



A signature of a digital contract as well as your ID, via the Yaago platform, will be requested after booking, as well as information for the police file, in accordance with the regulations in force. If the identity of the people present during the stay does not match that of the reservation, we reserve the right to refuse you access to the accommodation.

The apartment was not as clean as it should have been upon arrival (lots of dust behind the refrigerator and some dust elsewhere, floors needed a fresh vacuuming. I did not like having to clean the apartment on my arrival, only to be assessed a cleaning fee. Also, the TV room furniture is not very comfortable and therefore not particularly conducive to relaxation. The bathroom faucet broke during our stay, and the maintenance staff arrived quickly to glue the handle back on. The location was perfect for us, with a quick walk to Petite Venise, and we loved having the market outside our door each Saturday!

Die Flasche Crémant auf dem Küchentisch zur Begrüßung war eine nette Geste. Der Küchentisch ist eine Zumutung und wurde trotz Inakzeptabel! Der extrem instabile und wackelige Küchentisch wurde trotz Reklamation nicht in Ordnung gebracht. An diesem Tisch war/ist es nur unter größten Anstrengungen möglich zu Essen oder Essen zuzubereiten. Selbst das Schneiden eines Brötchens kann dazu führen, dass alles auf dem Tisch sich befindende auf dem Boden landet. Das muss vorher bekannt gewesen sein und wurde wissentlich hingenommen! Die Abfallentsorgung ist leider nicht gut und nicht verständlich geregelt.
