About this apartment rental
I have a fully furnished and appointed 700 square foot apartment for rent near 60th and SE Division with everything you need to feel comfortable while visiting the Portland area. It is located on the second floor above a hall used for classes and exercise therapy. You may occasionally hear the vocals of a community choir who use it for rehearsal. It is mostly a quiet space that is a few steps from public transportation and less than a block from a really nice coffee shop. It is a very short distance from all that is offered by the Hawthorne and Division street districts and a short walk to beautiful Mount Tabor park. It has high ceilings and an open space living room. It has a large size bedroom with a comfy queen size bed. The bathroom has both shower and tub and provided towels. The Kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and eating ware. There is also a washer and dryer in the apartment, a free parking spot and free Wi-fi. All utilities are included.
If you don't rent a car or have your own, there is ample public transportation as well as Uber, and Lyft for your convenience. Portland is known for its great public transportation and it keeps getting better.
The apartment is available as a short term rental on a weekly or monthly basis. Given the activities that occur in the hall below, I am looking for a quiet person who doesn't mind the occasional charming sounds arising from the choir voices below. There is a no smoking and no pets policy. We prefer a "no shoe" policy in the house so you can bring slippers or indoor shoes are fine. Also be aware you have to climb a few stairs to get to the apartment.

The bedroom shades worked so well we almost slept through our entire vacation. The newly enclosed patio provided adequate light and sound insulation. We could not even hear the bus that stops just outside the window.
The close proximity to Mt. Tabor made it easy to walk there for the annual soapbox derby. It's also just a stone's throw away from a few restaurants and a coffee shop. And we never had to worry about parking, as there is ample space in the lot behind the building.
Our host was great. The unit was spacious with high ceilings. All appliances functioned normally (including the AC unit). It was a comfortable place to lay our heads without worry.
