The Pond is located on 65 acres along I 68 Exit 45. The Pond is very Unique, it is a one of kind, it is spring fed. The Pond is Only 1 mile from Canal Place in down town Cumberland Maryland, and 5 miles from the Rocky Gap Casino and Resort . Here in Cumberland Maryland we have 2 Campgrounds. The Pond is located at Campground 1, THE HILLCREST RIVER CAMPGROUND . The Pond is only 3 miles from Campground 2 THE CANAL TUNNEL RIVER CAMPGROUND, located along the North Branch of the Potomac river and the C&O Canal National Park. Camp here and Campground 2 is FREE. At the Pond we have a Canopy, A boat dock ,a picnic table ,a Fire ring and a New Portable toilet. A 110 volt Electric outlet is furnished. A flush toilet and a Hot shower is Available 1500' away. Come bring your Bicycles campers or tents. We are only 1 mile from the C&O and the Great Allegheny TRAILS. THANKS DONELLY

Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs.
We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites.
The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths"
All in all, you will not be disappointed!
