Austin's abundant sunshine and beautiful natural surroundings entices nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. There are several opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, such as hiking, biking, camping, and water sports of all kinds on the area's lakes and rivers. You'll find numerous award-winning golf courses to choose from, as well as serene botanical gardens and nature preserves where you can enjoy the local flora and fauna.
It's also know to be the "Live Music Capital of the World" and houses a large number of entertainment options and unique attractions along with hundreds of music venues. The resort is located just two short blocks from the city's infamous 6th street where there is almost 200 musical acts each night of the week. Sixth Street is distinctly Austin, Texas with its colorful and bustling array of bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. It is a sure bet for experiencing local characters and the vibrancy of the city.
