Santo stefano di magra is a medieval village, a focal point of contact between the enchanting scenery offered by the gulf of poets (la spezia, lerici, tellaro, porto venere), cinque terre (riomaggiore, manarola, corniglia, vernazza and monterosso) and versilia (carrara, forte dei marmi, pietrasanta, viareggio), a true oasis of peace and tranquility, however, a few kilometers away from the main tourist attractions that the province of la spezia has to offer to its visitors and a few minutes from the motorway to major art cities on the border between tuscany and liguria (genoa, portofino, pisa, florence, siena, etc..).
