More than Aubi, cottage with pool in Riudoms

Beautiful property in rural Spain. Whole family loved this stay. Private pool. Close drive to Salou and shops. Definitely would go back.

Not the holiday villa we were expecting. The pool was not near the villa and we were suddenly changed to another pool, just as we were going out, and we had to go to the pool and remove all our equipment and get it to the other pool. Two sunbeds broke while we used them. They were clearly weak as others appeared to have been welded. We then had to leave before the owner came to see us off, as we had to get back at a certain time to the airport. I was later informed that I would be charged for towels that couldn’t be cleaned( only their say so) I had a white beach towel which had yellow marks. When I got home I washed it in a 30 minute cycle on 30 degrees and the marks are all gone. The villa wasn’t that clean. We had to clean the fridge before we could use it. The temperature during the day was about 35 degrees there was no air conditioning and we had two fans between 5 bedrooms, so sleeping at night was difficult. The villa was covered in dust, and I would say it was cleaned for some time, because there were cobwebs all around the house. There was no WiFi which should be standard these days. Downstairs shower mostly gave cold water with the occasional hot water. .Flies were a problem eating inside or outside, you could have 4 or 5 flies around your food. We found nothing like that when we left the villa to eat elsewhere. I would like to change my rating to 2 stars
