About this apartment rental
New apartment on the first floor of a villa in Carnoux-en-Provence, the first town inland after Cassis.
Carnoux is a small, intimate village of 5,000 residents, where it’s easy to get around and find parking—even in August!
- Living/dining room with a sleeper sofa and a large French door offering a sweeping panoramic view of the Mediterranean pine trees and the village,
- New, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, plenty of storage, and a beautiful view of the valley from the window above the sink.
- Separate bathroom with vanity unit, double sinks, and a window,
- Separate toilet with a window,
- Bedroom with a double bed and a single bed on a built-in all-wood loft, plus a rollaway bed.
A folding baby bed is available upon request, as well as a small table and two chairs for children ages 1 to 6.
- Hallway with a large selection of books in French, Italian, and English available for your use.
The entire apartment is decorated in a Mediterranean style—all blue and white like the sea—with plenty of photos of nearby coastal areas to give you ideas for walks and get you in the vacation spirit.
In any case, we’re happy to share our top recommendations for beaches and seaside walks—or other excursions—that we’ve discovered over the years.You can dine outdoors every day during the summer using the patio furniture (including a parasol) and lounge chairs available right at the foot of your private staircase, on your private garden/terrace of approximately 10 m², which is not overlooked, with the only "noise" being the song of the cicadas (every evening at dinnertime in the summer!)
During the day, the garden is bathed in sunlight.
Access to the apartment is particularly convenient when returning from shopping or the beach, as you can park your car just a few meters from the foot of the private staircase leading to your apartment.
The rental, which isn’t overlooked, is located in a residential neighborhood and offers a magnificent view of the pine trees, as the garden borders a vast, wooded, protected, and non-buildable area owned by the O.N.F. that stretches all the way to the top of the hill.
This property allows you to enjoy the conveniences of a small town (all shops in town, easy traffic flow, and free parking for shopping) while also experiencing the vibrancy of a unique tourist destination just a few kilometers away: Cassis, with its cliffs plunging into the sea (reportedly the highest sea cliffs in Europe…); its beaches, its little tourist train, its water activities, and its small harbor with unmatched charm.
Cassis is also the starting point for splendid boat trips or hikes to explore the calanques: not to be missed!

Carnoux is a small town not far from cassis and la ciotat. You will need a car though. Near this apartment you find grocery stores and an small playground, so for us with children was perfect. We enjoyed the afternoons on the terrace where we could enjoy the sun, the view and the kids could play. The little house is small as cosy but also comfortable. The apartment is well equipped. The kitchen has a dolce gusto coffee machine, toaster and a dishwasher just to name a few of the things that matter while you are on vacation! And the air conditioner was great ! We had everything we needed! Marie was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

We were there way off season, but the area is so beautiful that a little rain didn't matter. The apartment is adorable. Very comfortable. We were able to put both our teenagers in the living room on separate beds, and we kept all the suitcases in the big bedroom. We rented a bigger car, so we parked on the street. We enjoyed exploring the area around Cassis and went as far as Avignon one day. Access to the tolled highways is very close and they are very fast.
We also appreciated the well stocked book shelves and the supply of tourist information in the suite. The apartment is so bright and cheerfully decorated with local photos on the walls. We loved it. Thanks so much!
